When we first introduced this ring in 2001, the price of gold was under $300 an ounce and the limited edition premium 18k Mans chief ring sold for around 1/2 as much as today. Fast forward 10 years, the price of gold has gone up 6 times to around $1800 an ounce. Gem stones, especially premium "Burmese" rubies have more than doubled in price. And while we have seen dramatic increases in prices over 100% in almost all categories, our base price for the premium 18k ring has "barely" doubled. Customers who were sticker shocked back than are feeling pretty good about their investment now days. The point is, The price of uncompromised quality "never" comes cheaply. nor, should it.
but... uncompromised quality can be had at a "reasonable" price if you are.. Dealing directly with the shop that makes it have No middlemen adding 10% to 20% above our price or No retail markups (100% to 200% above the middleman's price)..
